HAVU parts ways with doto and sAw - both transfer to ENCE

Joonas "doto" Forss, who joined HAVU over a year ago, has been bought out of his contract and transferred to ENCE for undisclosed fee. ENCE contacted us about their interest towards doto, who after giving it a thought expressed his his desire to join ENCE.

He has been integral part of HAVU for the past year, and with him HAVU has peaked at #21 in HLTV rankings, won numerous Finnish LANs, qualified for ESEA MDL Europe Finals, DreamHack Open: Rotterdam, and finished top 3 in Flashpoint.

In addition to sale of doto, Eetu "sAw" Saha has decided to retire as competitive CS:GO player. His contract has been terminated and Eetu will move on to coach ENCE.

Eetu has been part of HAVU all the way from Spring 2018 when the core of our now former lineup was established. As in-game leader he has been one of the most important pieces of our CS:GO roster. HAVU as organization thanks both Joonas and Eetu for their time with us and wishes them best of luck in ENCE.

"Every journey has it's end and now it's time to close one chapter. Joonas joined HAVU little over a year ago and ever since we've evolved our game and went up in ranks. He brings so much to the table in and outside of the game and I'm sure he'll shine in his future team.
Eetu joined us back in 2018 and has been the backbone of this team for so long. His exceptional leading was an important formula in our team and I'd like to thank his commitment to this team.
I wish good luck to both of these lads, it was one hell of a ride!
I'd like to once again thank Niklas & Mika from ENCE, always a pleasure working with you.

As for our team, we have already signed one player and we're on a lookout for the last piece of a puzzle. We'll announce our new team as soon as it's ready. We are still committed in building a winning CS:GO roster and I'm sure we'll drop some jaws when those news come out!"
- Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola, Head Coach & Partner at HAVU

"I want to thank HAVU management and the players for giving me the chance to prove myself and start playing professional Counter-Strike. These kinds of chances don't come everyday and I have decided to take my career to the next level by joining ENCE."
- Joonas "doto" Forss

"I have been thinking about stepping down as a player for some time now. Ever since I briefly tried coaching with the earlier HAVU lineup I knew it was going to be my next step. Now an opportunity presented itself as ENCE needed a new coach. I think its an interesting opportunity for me, an opportunity that I don't want to miss and one that I will try to make the most of. That being said I will always remember the experiences we have had in HAVU. There are a lot of good memories that I will always remember (thanks doto, sLowi, ZOREE, xseveN, disturbed, klashy and all of my former teammates). I want to thank HAVU for believing in the team at all times and also for making this transfer possible. I hope everyone will find success in their new paths! GL&BYE"
- Eetu "sAw" Saha

“After unfortunate events we landed into a position where we needed to search for a new addition to our CSGO roster. We did some research and came to a conclusion that we still want to keep a full Finnish lineup. After this ruling was set it was obvious that from the Finnish scene doto could be a great addition to our lineup. He's results driven, motivated and eager to prove his worth, all qualities you value in a professional esports player. We of course think he could also fit well into our roster and easily find his place among our guys.  I personally can't wait to see what he can do with us. Welcome aboard!”
- Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, GM at ENCE
